High Protein Snacks On-the-go!
In a hurry but need to stay on track? Pack a healthy high protein snack!!
Here is a list of 15 healthy snack ideas you can pack in a hurry and eat on the go to keep you full and hit your protein goals:
1. Beef Jerky
2. Turkey roll up – turkey, cheese and a pickle in the middle, roll up and get on your way!
3. Greek Yogurt parfait – add fruit and granola to a pre-packaged cup of greek yogurt. (Don’t try to eat this one while driving!)
4. Veggies and yogurt dip – mix a package of dry ranch with a cup of plain greek yogurt for a high protein version of dip
5. Tuna – 3 ounces = TWENTY grams of protein
6. Hard-boiled eggs
7. Handful of almonds
8. Cottage cheese – add a small serving of fruit
9. Apple with peanut butter
10. Protein Bars – Built puffs are my favorite!
11. Protein shake – premade or homemade. Blend in some spinach, ice and fruit if you are feeling fancy!
12. Bag of Quest Chips
13. Overnight oats – great for increasing your fiber intake! Add 1/2 cup of oats, 1 scoop of protein powder, 1/2c or more of almond milk. Customize with PB2 powder, nut butter, honey, or stevia for sweetness. Mix. Top with fruit.
14. Celery with peanut butter
15. String cheese
